Our best evaluation that illustrates the meaning and impact of MEET is the impressive cohort of over 700 alumni, social entrepreneurs, researchers and activists, and their achievements.

So far, 30 MEET alumni have been accepted to the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology,  12 got accepted to MIT, another 2 to Harvard, and many more to several universities in Europe, including the TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences in Germany, and King’s College in the UK.

Moreover, two Alumnae were featured in 30 Under 30 by Forbes Israel – Helen Wexler (Israeli) in 2017, and Shayma Sharif (Palestinian) in 2020.

meet our alumni

MEET alumni lead by example. They are founding innovative ventures, attending prestigious universities, and giving back to their communities — and to MEET.

Mustafa Rizeq

Class of 2017

From East Jerusalem, Mustafa first joined the program in 2015. While earning his B.Sc. in CS, he returned to MEET as a CS Instructor and later as Partnerships Coordinator. Today, Mustafa works at the East Jerusalem Municipality’s Department of Employment, where he leads initiatives connecting job seekers and employers. Mustafa credits MEET for shaping his confidence, communication skills, and deep belief in respect and equality - values he now carries into every part of his community work.

Adan Suleiman

Class of 2017

Adan joined MEET in 2015 from Nazareth, discovering how technology could bridge cultures. After graduating, she studied Computer Science at the Technion and is now a Software Engineer at Dell Technologies. Beyond her work, Adan mentors aspiring engineers through Tsofen, helping Arab students integrate into Israel’s high-tech industry. She credits MEET with giving her the confidence, technical skills, and collaborative mindset to innovate, connect, and open doors for others.

Sadek Jabr

Class of 2007

Sadek is a MEET Alum from East Jerusalem and a lead MEET Computer Science Instructor. He is also the founder of Code for Palestine, an NGO in the West Bank that teaches Palestinian youth coding, thus helping a new generation of Palestinian youth on a path towards higher education and employment.

Lour Muna

Class of 2022

Lour is a medical student at Bar-Ilan University with a passion for community health. At MEET, she co-founded an initiative teaching critical thinking in mixed high schools. Though she chose medicine over tech, Lour credits MEET for shaping her leadership and drive to create change across divides; one conversation, one community at a time.
