• Instructors work in a team to prepare and deliver curriculum to students (15-17 years old).
• Instructors are required to attend a preparation weekend at MIT before arrival to the Middle East. The sessions during the weekend cover basic information regarding travel in the region, background information on the organization, and teaching workshops.
• The approximate dates for the program are late July through late August, during which each instructor will have training and preparation, teach and do documentation/summarizing after.
• Trips are organized for MIT instructors to see the region during their time off. Past trips have included weekend outings to historical sights and camping trips. As an instructor you will receive room and board and a small stipend to cover all incidental living expenses.
• For CS instructors, opportunities are available for applicants with knowledge of Python programming as well as advanced topics like web development (Django), software design, and project management.
• For entrepreneurship instructors, applicants should have formal exposure to business and marketing fundamentals, with real world experience at a job or internship strongly preferred.
