About MEET

Established in 2004, MEET (Middle East Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow) is an educational excellence NGO that harnesses the power of technology and entrepreneurship to create an active network of young Palestinian and Israeli leaders who share a common professional language and capacity for joint action. In partnership with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), MEET delivers an intensive, three-year Computer Science, entrepreneurship, and leadership education program that provides the tools and opportunities necessary to effect economic, social, and political change across the region.

Job Description

MEET is looking for someone who is a self-starter, is responsible, deadline-oriented and works well individually, and as part of a team.

Major Areas of Responsibility

Create grant proposals and reports to institutional funders, especially foundations, including the narrative and financial segments, as well as cover letters and letters of interest (LOI) and related material as appropriate to support MEET’s fundraising
Create applications and reports to corporate CSRs, including the narrative and financial segments and related material as appropriate to support MEET’s fundraising
Researching potential funders, with a focus on foundations and corporations (primarily in the US, Europe and Israel)
Updating CRM database with pertinent information, correspondence, and documents related to donors and prospects, income and potential income
Gather programmatic information for proposals and reports by coordinating with the educational team
Be well versed in MEET’s programs

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent proven English writing skills required
Creativity, attention to detail and ability to manage tasks and tight deadlines required;
Hebrew writings skills a plus
Successful experience with writing marketing communications, proposals and reports for foundations and/or foreign governments. Successful experience with proposal and report writing for USAID and/or EU grants preferred.
Co-writing/editing experience a plus
Talent for integrating information and producing a coherent and powerful story
Familiarity with the content and context of MEET's work in the Middle East and in the US a plus
Experience with working with Salesforce an advantage
Basic knowledge of budget construction and interpretation.
